Flash Retriever is a useful file recovery program for Windows. It helps users to recover lost information, pictures and other files from flash drives, such as SD cards and USB pen drives. It supports RAW picture image recovery even, if the flash drive has been formatted.

The program is simple and easy to use, and its interface consists of a single window, where users only have to follow the on-screen instructions to recover files. The flash drives are automatically detected by the program. Once a drive is selected, a series of recovery options and parameters appear to define the type of recovery, as well as the type of files: audio, image, video or others.

The time that Flash Retriever will take to search and recover previously defined files depends on the size of the flash drive, but generally it doesn't take long. Once the process is finished, users can choose which files should be copied to the desired custom location on the hard drive.

Flash Retriever doesn't offer any advanced recovery options like other similar software but since it specializes on retrieving pictures and raw formats, it's worth trying.
